Polonsky/Shifrin/Wiley Trio

Fresh on the heels of being honored at the 2018 Chamber Music America Conference by being named the recipient of its 2018 Richard J. Bogomolny National Service Award - an award which recognizes an individual or entity that has provided historic service to the small ensemble music field - clarinetist David Shifrin has announced the formation of a new trio with the distinguished cellist Peter Wiley, and the rising star pianist Anna Polonsky.

The Trio, which is available for isolated engagements in 2018-19, is offering tour periods between November 1-10, 2019, and January 24–February 1, 2020. It will also be possible to consider isolated engagements outside of these periods during the 2019-20 season.

In addition to the well-known trios for piano, clarinet and cello by Beethoven and Brahms, the Trio will offer a number of lesser known works as well as sonatas for clarinet/piano and cello/piano.
